XR Scotland Wildlife Vigil 2020

Land Reform Protest, XR Scotland. 31.10.2020

Royal Mile, Edinburgh to Parliament starting with an animal art protest designed by Natalie Taylor outside St Giles Cathedral. It continued with a mock Fox Hunt, complete with horns and hounds down to the Parliment building. The animal protest was to highlight the alarming decline in Uk wildlife over the past 50 years with statistics held up by each protestor wearing an animal headdress. A drum beat accompanied each animal as they stood up and held their sign, and then fell down to the ground to signify their decline and possible extinction.
